This is a most unusual, almost unique find. The dime was struck about 90% off center (only top of head is visible), then the obverse clad layer peeled off, then the off center portion separated with from the blank unstruck portion of the clad layer, literally becoming a fragment piece. Amazing that they were found together, even though the fragment only weighs 0.03 grams. The unstruck portion of the clad layer weighs 0.36 grams. I placed the fragment onto a regular dime and it lines up to the K2 position. It is so thin that it blends in well sitting on top of the dime.
